Diamond VS2 clarity

VS2 clarity grading is the sixth clarity grade in order and is very popular and attractive on behalf of diamonds shoppers.
Diamonds are one of the most famous and well loved gemstones that have been used by humanity since the ancient times as decorative items. Diamonds are highly traded that is why gemological labs were created to grade and certify the diamonds based on the 4 C’s. Engagement rings are the most famous use of diamonds that became known in the middle of the 20th century through an advertisement by the De Beers although they have been used as a sign of engagement since approximately 15th century.
What is diamond clarity?
The clarity of a diamond is simply the color, number and quality of inclusions inside a diamond. There are several gemological laboratories that grade the clarity of diamonds like the GIA, EGL, AGS and several others. GIA and AGS are two of the most highly recognized gemological laboratories and the method of GIA is the one that is the most accurate these days.
Defining VS2 Diamonds
VS stands for Very Slightly Imperfect. They are diamonds that have small inclusions which are difficult to see like the clouds, feathers or tiny crystals. Its inclusions are impossible to be seen by the naked eye and can be visible only through a 10x magnifying loupe. There are 2 types of VS clarity diamonds and that is VS1 and VS2 diamonds. You will have a hard type distinguishing which is which because it is really difficult to see their differences and you need to have a much closer look just to distinguish one.

VS2 diamonds are easily recognized under the 10x magnifying loupe than the VS1 diamonds. VS2 diamonds are easier to be notices as they are a little larger than those of VS1.
